The rosé wine Gönnheimer St. Laurent Rosé from the house Weingut Eymann, based in the wine region Pfalz in southern-western Germany, is a wonderfully fruity and vibrant rosé made from the local German grape variety Sankt Laurent. The wine has a deep pink colour with an aromatic bouquet of fruity strawberry and raspberry notes, combined with delicate herbal and mineral notes. The palate presents a delicious compote of forest berries, red apple, basil and a charming woody note which originates from the fermentation and maturation in a combination of stainless-steel tanks and French oak barrels. The palate has an elegant texture and a pleasant acidity which makes it fresh and easy to drink on its own as well as with a great variety of dishes. Enjoy it all year round served with pork and poultry and salty dishes like charcuterie and tapas.


Vincent Eymann took over family-owned house situated in the small village Gönnheim after his father in 1984. He cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards located on the steep slopes by the Rhine river with strictly organic and biodynamic methods. The vines are up to 50 years old and grow on a complex mosaic of various soil types and minerals. Eymann is passionate about creating authentic wines in harmony with nature, and above all for the health of our children and future generations. All his wines are certified organic and biodynamic since 2005, and he is a pioneer of this approach in the area. Biodynamic agriculture is very similar to organic farming, but it includes various esoteric concepts drawn from the ideas of Rudolf Steiner and Maria Thun. The goal is to grow healthy vines with the best fruit quality as possible as well as supporting nature and biodiversity.
